Biography
Crystal grew up in a small Farming town in South Georgia called Moultrie, where like all kids and Teenagers she worked the fields cropping Tobacco and picking vegetables every summer. Crystal would listen with her Mother to all the great songs of artists like Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, etc...and fell in love with the idea that one day she was also going to be singing like them. At the age of 9 yrs Crystal performed her first song solo in front of the congregation at Church and had such a great response from it , she knew it was her destiny to perform. Crystal attended choir in school and Church and would often get the Lead Solo's for their concerts.
She later grew old enough to attend clubs and got into a Band with her Uncle. They performed at VFW's and American Legions, etc for years. Crystal later married and forgot about the stardom she had dreamed of. She was very happy just being a Mother and a Wife and performing locally, where she would meet all sorts of interesting Musicians and people in the industry that she still so much wanted to be part of. So, Crystal decided she would try again and started work on the Sun Cruise casino Gambling Boat, where she began to realize again singing and performing was her Destiny. Crystal got involved with MDA and Jerry Lewis cause and helped host a telethon in Crystal river Florida in 1991. She was suppose to MC, but wound up competing as well and ended up winning 2nd place in the talent show. Crystal still performed regularly until 1993 when she was diagnosed with Cancer. After a 2 year battle with Cancer, Crystal realized that she could do anything if she fought hard enough. Crystal lost her husband and love of her life to cancer in January of 2004, and decided it was now or never. She has sung with such artists as Jeff Cook from Alabama, on a release Concert for the band he sponsored in 1999 called The Chosen Few. Crystal has also played with Curtis Gordon many years at clubs. She competed in The Colgate Country Showdown in Jacksonville, Fl in 2006 and won 3rd place, as well as the Talent Quest in Ocala where she won Regional and went on to Nevada for Nationals where that led her to now. Crystal has finally recorded her 1st CD, which consists of 10 original songs under TCBrown/Indie Label, and with the love and support of her friends and family, she is starting to fill that maybe her dream is coming true.
